Mike Miller

Mike Miller began his insurance career in 1973, serving as an underwriting trainee at Wm. H. McGee and Co. Inc. Fast forward to 2023, he held Senior Leadership/Management positions at Alterra Insurance Company, Markel Insurance Company, and most recently at AON Reinsurance Solutions.

Throughout his career, Mike excelled in overseeing field operations, setting underwriting guidelines, and driving profitable growth for marine products. His vision and execution strategies aligned company interests with clients and distribution partners.

Mike actively contributed to the marine insurance community, serving on AIMU, WQIS, and IMUA boards. He chaired IMUA from 2004 to 2006.

Mike earned his B.A. in Business Administration from Belmont Abbey College, 1973.
