Upon completing her education at Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School, Roxanne embarked on her career journey with Falvey in 2000 as a Secretary supporting the Cargo Underwriting team. With a growing understanding of cargo operations, she ascended through the ranks, serving as an Underwriting Technical Assistant before ultimately assuming the role of Account Executive. Roxanne then transitioned to spearhead the Cargo Underwriting Operations team, later pivoting to helm the People Operations department, ensuring a cohesive and engaging workplace environment at Falvey.

Roxanne has been an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) since 2015, demonstrating her dedication to professional development and excellence in the field of human resources. She shares her experience and insights by speaking at conferences and participating in HR related podcasts, where she shares her journey and expertise, inspiring others in their professional growth and organizational leadership.

A pivotal moment in Roxanne’s career came in 2022 when she was appointed Chief People Officer, marking her historic position as the first female member of Falvey’s esteemed C-Suite. Her exceptional leadership garnered recognition, earning her the esteemed Providence Business News C-Suite Award in 2023.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Roxanne is deeply involved in community service, dedicating her time to organizations such as the Rhode Island State Grange, Washington County Pomona Grange, and Richmond Grange. She actively contributes to the Washington County Fair, where her commitment extends to serving on the volunteer committee responsible for the fair’s coordination and execution. Notably, Roxanne served as Co-Chair of the fair for five years and becoming the first woman to hold this role
