Our next team member feature introduces you to Matthew Rebello, a soccer dad who hit a legendary hole-in-one at Falvey Cup to make company history.

Matt is Falvey Insurance Group’s Vice President of Information Technology. He leads a group of talented software developers and network administrators who are focused on providing the highest quality technology-based services for the company. Matt and his team offer both strategic IT vision and innovative solutions, so all of Falvey’s divisions can meet their goals and deliver results.

“One of the things I enjoy most about Falvey is how each and every person is accessible,” Matt says. “Collectively, we are able to find solutions that not only work, but create an environment that allows users to excel in every facet of their job.”

Falvey hired Matt directly out of college upon his graduation from the New England Institute of Technology (NEIT) 14 years ago. Matt comments how proud he is that the company took a chance on him as an unknown commodity, and he does his best to exceed expectations every day. He’s worked his way up from Programmer and Software Engineer to Software Development Manager and ultimately to his current role of Vice President of IT.

“Falvey is consistently growing and with growth comes new challenges each day,” Matt continues. “This makes for a very dynamic and exciting environment. We’re not just employees at Falvey, we’re key contributors in shaping the future of the company as well.”

Outside of his career, Matt and his wife, Kristin, are soccer parents and love to watch their two beautiful daughters, Madison and Hayden, compete in games every weekend (and practice almost every weeknight). Matt also enjoys attempting to play golf. He is famous for hitting a hole-in-one to win a match at a Falvey Cup event. If you don’t believe him, he has it on film!
