This week, Mike Falvey, President of Falvey Insurance Group, served on the panel for “Trends and Strategies for Attracting and Retaining Talent”. A co-sponsored event by HILB Group New England and Bank of America Merrill Lynch at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Warwick, RI.
The panel included company leadership from businesses in Rhode Island who demonstrate growing employee retention rates despite the changes in the overall workplace model. The panel members were asked to provide a brief presentation, to an audience of between 100-150 local businesses, on their personal strategy for employee retention.
Mike Falvey shared the importance of employee development through a number of success stories. Staying current on technology and internal committees to drive employee engagement and morale. All which support Falvey’s 6% turnover rate, which is 14% lower than the national average.
