A strong marketing department often operates behind the scenes, drawing attention to a business instead of themselves. This week, we’re bringing that department into the spotlight and introducing you to Amanda Langlais, who is exactly one half of our dynamic two-person marketing team.

Since 2017, Amanda has supported the Director of Marketing in critical operations like content, email, budgeting, promotions, and more. She’s also the one making sure all the internal and external events at Falvey and its subsidiaries go off without a hitch. Currently, Amanda is keeping quite busy coordinating the 25th Anniversary Gala, slated for August, as well as the Final Falvey Cup, scheduled for September. 

It’s exactly that variety that keeps Amanda happy: “I love that every day is different in the marketing department,” she says. “Things are always changing and evolving, and new projects are coming up all the time, which challenges me to step up my game.”

Before coming to Falvey, Amanda spent years honing her event planning and management skills. While working for Fremantle Media she toured the U.S. and Canada with popular shows like America’s Got Talent and The Price is Right Live. She also strengthened her planning skills while coordinating festivals, weddings, and numerous events at Matunuck Oyster Bar in South Kingstown.

When she’s not working her marketing magic at FIG, Amanda loves traveling, hiking with her father, and hanging out with family, friends, and her two pups, Finn and Fallon.
