Next up in our employee spotlight series, we have the pleasure of introducing our executive assistant, Melissa Furry.
Melissa’s role as executive assistant involves her wearing many different hats, as she assists our COO, SVP of ProTecht, and VP of Technology & Innovation. On any given day, this may mean overseeing travel arrangements, organizing calendars, managing emails, and creating efficiency among our C-suite and senior managers.
“I can honestly say that every day at FIG is different,” Melissa says of her role, “But that’s what I love! I never know what adventures are coming my way.
Before joining our FIG crew, Melissa held several prestigious positions, as she previously worked as an assistant at LinkedIn and a project manager at Google.
When Melissa isn’t hard at work, she enjoys antique shopping and spending time with her two cats, Knox and Finn. She was also responsible for the very important task of planning her wedding, her “side hustle”, which just took place this past weekend.
